Whitetails Unlimited (WTU) Service Record

Hunters Against Hunger Program – Personally worked with WTU Field Director Tim Powers to introduce and develop this pilot project here in Linn county Iowa.
This program allowed hunters who harvested deer to donate it free of charge to participating meat lockers.
Proceeds from the local WTU banquet paid for the venison processing costs and the local Hawkeye Area Community Action Programs food pantry distributed to those most in need.
Iowa’s State Representatives and Department of Natural Resources adopted the program statewide and now call it “Help Us Stop Hunger” (HUSH) which now supplies venison statewide!

National Level

National Silver Life Sponsor – Personally mounted and donated a turkey mount to NWTF headquarter visitor center that won “Most Artistic Entry” at its own Wild Turkey Taxidermy Championships.
National Super Fund Award – Personally secured first time money for local chapter to acquire 144 acres of public hunting land
